Representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, operators of electronic platforms for public procurement, as well as experts from international financial institutions such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and Islamic Development Bank participated in the seminar.

During the discussions, priority areas for developing Uzbekistan's public procurement system were reviewed. The World Bank presented assessment results, highlighting the current state of reforms, existing barriers, and recommendations for further improvements.

Additionally, the results of studies by the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank aimed at enhancing the procurement capabilities of Uzbek government bodies were examined. Special attention was given to priority measures for implementing electronic public procurement (eGP) systems in certain sectors, the support of international financial institutions in this process, and expanding practices for 'green' public procurement, which prioritizes environmentally friendly and energy-efficient goods and services.

Furthermore, mechanisms for monitoring the implementation of measures to ensure the transparency and efficiency of the system were discussed. The seminar became an open dialogue platform among government agencies, international partners, and experts for modernizing and digitizing public procurement.
