Tashkent metro circle line operating hours to start earlier

Toshkent metro halqa yoʻli ish vaqti ertaroq boshlanadi

Another convenience is being introduced for the capital's residents. Starting May 1, 2026, train operations on the Tashkent Metro's "Above-ground circle line" will begin earlier than before — at 05:00. Previously, this line provided service starting at 06:00.

According to the new schedule, trains will run regularly every day from 05:00 to 23:00. This change primarily creates significant relief for passengers traveling early in the morning. This decision is considered particularly convenient for those rushing to work and those commuting long distances.

Experts believe that extending operating hours will also slightly ease the load on the transport system. As passenger flow is distributed more evenly over time, this will serve to reduce congestion at stations.

For reference, it is worth noting that on other metro lines — Chilonzor, Oʻzbekiston, and Yunusobod — train operations have already been established from 05:00 to 00:00. Now, the earlier start of the circle line will serve to ensure consistency across the entire system.

In this way, the capital's metro system is gradually modernizing and becoming more adapted to the needs of the population. Now there is only one question: will the next step be extending the evening hours? Time will tell.
