Heat intensifies again in Uzbekistan: Temperatures to reach 38 degrees

Uzhydromet has released the weather forecast for May 13. According to forecasters, temperatures across the republic will rise further on Wednesday, with no precipitation expected.

Tashkent cityis expected to have variable cloudiness. There is no chance of rain. An easterly wind will blow at 3-8 meters per second. Temperatures will be around 13-15 degrees at night and 27-29 degrees during the day.

Karakalpakstan Republic and Khorezm region will also remain partly cloudy with no precipitation. Wind speeds will be 7-12 meters per second, with gusts up to 15-20 meters per second in some areas, potentially causing dust storms. Temperatures will range from 10-15 degrees at night to 25-30 degrees during the day.

Bukhara region and Navoi region will see daytime temperatures rise to 28-33 degrees. Strong winds and dust storms are possible in some areas.

Tashkent region, Syrdarya region, Jizzakh region and Samarkand region will also remain dry. Temperatures are forecast to be 12-17 degrees at night and 25-30 degrees during the day.

Kashkadarya region and Surkhandarya region will experience the highest temperatures. In these areas, daytime temperatures will rise to 30-35 degrees.

Andijan region, Namangan region and Fergana region will also have clear and dry weather. Daytime temperatures will remain around 25-30 degrees.

The republic's foothill and mountainous areaswill also remain dry. Temperatures here will be 6-11 degrees at night and 14-19 degrees during the day.

According to forecasters, dry and hot weather will persist across all regions of Uzbekistan until the end of the work week. By May 15, daytime temperatures may rise to 32-35 degrees, and up to 36-38 degrees in southern and desert areas.
