Uzbekistan sends further humanitarian aid to the people of Iran

Uzbekistan has once again provided practical support to the people of Iran. Two months after the initial humanitarian aid was sent, our country has delivered another shipment of humanitarian goods to Iran. This aid includes medicines and various medical supplies.
According to reports, the humanitarian cargo was delivered in 15 trucks. This aid is primarily aimed at providing medical assistance to the population in difficult situations and ensuring the supply of necessary medicines and medical equipment.
The humanitarian cargo was ceremonially handed over to the Iranian side at the “Artik–Lutfabad” checkpoint on the Turkmenistan–Iran border. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The handover ceremony was attended by Uzbekistan's Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ravshan Alimov, Iran's Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ali Mojtaba Roozbehani, Dargaz Mayor Mojtaba Bazmara, and other officials. The event highlighted the friendly relations, mutual respect, and the tradition of supporting each other during difficult times between the two countries.
The Iranian side expressed sincere gratitude to the President and the people of Uzbekistan for the practical assistance provided during this challenging time. Such support is of great importance not only as material aid but also as moral encouragement in a difficult situation.
As noted, this humanitarian initiative is another clear expression of the spirit of traditional friendship, good neighborliness, mutual respect, and solidarity between Uzbekistan and Iran. Aid provided in difficult times further strengthens trust and closeness between the peoples.
It should be recalled that the Uzbek side sent the first batch of humanitarian aid to the people of Iran, who are caught in the midst of war, in mid-March of this year. The latest aid shows that this noble initiative is being consistently continued.
In short, Uzbekistan has once again extended a helping hand to the people of Iran at a time when they are in a difficult situation. This is not just medicine in trucks, but a practical manifestation of humanity, empathy, and neighborly responsibility.
