The US conceded: Zelensky is expected to go to Washington after signing the agreement on resources
The agreement between Ukraine and the United States on mineral resources is likely to be a turning point in ending the war. New details have emerged around this agreement.

Did the United States make concessions to Ukraine?

The Financial Times recently published new details about the agreement. According to it, Kiev and Washington have reached an agreement on the terms of the agreement. According to the publication, the United States agreed to remove the most controversial part of the agreement - the provision that Ukraine should provide $ 500 billion in resources. That is, Washington has made concessions to Kiev on the issue of the agreement.

The Financial Times interlocutors said that Ukraine managed to make the agreement look more realistic in negotiations with the United States. It is noted that the signing of this agreement will ensure that relations with the United States continue in a broad direction.

Journalists managed to read the final version of the document. It states that Washington and Kiev will create a special fund and divide the money from future revenues from mineral resources in Ukraine. This fund will be used mainly to finance projects in Ukraine.

Also, the agreement has removed the provision on resources that bring money to the Ukrainian budget. That is, America agreed not to touch the oil and gas sectors in Ukraine.

However, the agreement does not yet say anything about security guarantees for Ukraine. It is also noted that the amount of the US share of this fund will be determined during further negotiations. Apparently, these crucial details will be clarified at the meeting between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky is expected to travel to Washington on February 28 to meet with Trump.

“I gave them the Javelin”

US billionaire President Donald Trump has begun to speak in a completely different light, despite reports that Kiev has made significant concessions, despite the fact that it has agreed to the deal he proposed. Remember the threats Trump made to Zelensky when he appeared before reporters and said that he would not sign a deal that would cost ten generations of Ukrainians? Now Trump is saying that Ukraine will receive $350 billion in military aid and the right to continue the war as part of the deal.

Note that Trump said that military aid will continue to be sent to Ukraine until a deal is reached with Russia. After all, weapons allocated during the Biden administration are still being delivered to Ukraine.

Trump also said that it was he who gave the Javelin anti-tank missiles to Ukraine. “The Ukrainian soldiers are very brave, but without our weapons, this war would have ended much faster. In fact, I gave them the Javelin, and they destroyed many tanks with the Javelin,” Trump said.

That's what they say. No matter how complicated world politics is today, when big money is involved, both politics and principles "go to the sidelines and smoke quietly." And here Putin is offering Trump to mine rare metals in Russia. In short, interesting things are starting to happen. If you continue to follow us, you will not be unaware of important events.
