Ukrainian and US delegations are preparing for negotiations

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that an important meeting between the Ukrainian and US delegations will take place next week. According to him, representatives of the two countries plan to discuss issues of peace and security.

"The Ukrainian and American teams have resumed work, and we hope for a meaningful meeting next week," Zelensky wrote in his address.

When and where will the meeting take place?

According to Fox News journalist Jackie Heinrich, the dialogue will take place on March 11 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.

The US side is scheduled to participate in the negotiations:
- Secretary of State Marco Rubio,
- National Security Advisor to the President Michael Walz,
- Special Representative for the Middle East Steve Witkoff.

On the Ukrainian side, the delegation will be led by the head of the presidential office, Andriy Yermak.

What will be discussed at the talks?

The head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Andriy Yermak, stressed that this meeting will serve to determine the future direction of security and relations between the two countries:

"We discussed the next steps towards a just and lasting peace. We also exchanged views on security issues and the coordination of positions between Ukraine and the United States," Yermak said.

Earlier, US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz announced that representatives of Washington and Kiev are discussing the venue and participants of the ceasefire talks.

Next steps on the path to peace

The talks next week are aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States. In particular, the parties will discuss:

- Security guarantees for Ukraine;
- The possibility of a ceasefire;
- Ukraine and NATO relations;
- May discuss possible negotiations with Russia.
