Drone attacks intensify between Ukraine and Russia: Dnipro and Moscow suffer heavy damage
On the night of March 11, airstrikes between Ukraine and Russia intensified. Russia targeted the city of Dnipro with drones, while Ukraine launched a large-scale drone attack on Moscow and its surrounding areas. Both sides reportedly suffered significant damage.

Russian drone attack on Dnipro

According to Sergei Lisak, head of the military administration of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian drones damaged 10 private houses in the city of Dnipro. Windows of a kindergarten and a school were also broken.

"As a result of the enemy's drone attack, several fires broke out. A garage and cars burned down, a two-story private house was partially destroyed. Fires were also recorded at infrastructure facilities," said Lisak.

The Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot down 12 of the 20 drones aimed at the Dnipro region. At the moment, there is no official information about the number of victims or injuries as a result of the attack.

At the same time, an air attack warning was issued in the city of Kiev. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram that the city's air defense system had been activated and residents were advised to stay in shelters.

Ukraine responds to Russia with drone attacks

On the night of March 11, Ukraine launched a large-scale drone attack on Moscow and several regions of Russia.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that 69 drones were shot down in the capital and its surroundings. However, some of the debris damaged the roof of a building on Domodedovo Street. The Mash Telegram channel reported that several windows on the upper floors of the building were broken.

There are also reports of drones hitting residential buildings in the cities of Vidnoye and Ramenskoye in the Moscow region. Russian analysts believe that the attack was carried out by a Ukrainian-made "Lyuty" drone.

According to the governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyev, at least three people died as a result of the attack. Russian authorities have recorded drone flights in Kolomna, Zaraysk, Serpukhov, Leninskoye, Podolsk, Elektrostal and other regions.

Some train services were temporarily suspended due to the debris falling on the territory of the Domodedovo railway station. Security measures have also been tightened at Domodedovo airport, and the "Cover" plan has been introduced.

Airstrikes between Russia and Ukraine escalate

Drone attacks between Ukraine and Russia are becoming increasingly intense. Both sides are increasing their attacks on infrastructure and strategic targets.

The Ukrainian government claims that these attacks are being carried out as a way to put pressure on Russia and in response to its airstrikes. Moscow, however, has indicated that it plans to respond even more harshly to Ukraine.

It will be interesting to see how these events unfold in the coming days and what the strategic responses of the two countries will be.
