Peace talks in the Black Sea: Russian and Ukrainian military will meet in Ankara?
Talks on Black Sea security may take place in Ankara on April 15–16, reports CNN Turk.

It is expected that Russian and Ukrainian officials might participate, although neither side has officially confirmed attendance. The format of the talks — direct or mediated — remains unclear.

Turkey’s Ministry of Defense announced that military representatives from foreign countries will gather, but did not disclose the list of participants.

The meeting will be hosted at Turkey’s Naval Command HQ and will focus on planning for peace and security in the Black Sea region.

Previously, from March 23–25, the U.S. held separate talks with both Russian and Ukrainian delegations in Saudi Arabia. The U.S. said both sides may agree to a ceasefire in the Black Sea.

However, Russia demands that sanctions on its agricultural exports be lifted and Rosselkhozbank be reconnected to the SWIFT system. Zelensky accused Russia of manipulating the process.
