A Miracle in China: 9-Year-Old Girl Survives Fall from 25th Floor

In Tangshan, Hebei Province, China, an unbelievable incident occurred. According to South China Morning Post, a 9-year-old schoolgirl fell from the 25th floor and miraculously survived the horrific accident.

Details indicate that the girl was at home when she tried to open a window by climbing onto a shelf. However, the structure couldn’t support her weight, and she fell from the 25th floor. Fortunately, she landed on a platform located on the exterior of an apartment on the 7th floor, which saved her life.

At the time of the fall, her father was at home but was unaware of what had happened. When he called his daughter for dinner and couldn’t find her, he phoned his wife. Shocked, the father looked out the window several times but didn’t see the girl — she had walked a few steps on the platform and hidden.

It was only after a call from the building’s management that the parents learned where their daughter was. A resident of the 7th floor had heard the noise of the fall, gone outside, and seen the girl lying on the platform. He immediately alerted the property management.

The girl's condition was critical — her eyes were swollen, and she had lost a lot of blood, but she was conscious. She was urgently transferred to Beijing, 200 kilometers from Tangshan. Doctors there diagnosed multiple fractures in her arms, eyebrows, and chest, and performed two complex surgeries.

Currently, the schoolgirl is undergoing rehabilitation. At the end of April, doctors will reassess her condition.
