Germany calls for new sanctions against Russia

Germany calls for new sanctions against Russia
On Sunday, May 25, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul addressed the international community with a serious statement on ARD television. According to him, the recent massive missile attacks against civilians in Ukraine clearly demonstrate that Putin intends to continue the war.

Wadephul called on European Union countries to impose even tougher sanctions against Russia. “Putin is not interested in peace, he does not want to stop the war. We must stop this,” he said.

The German minister urged Western countries to take firm and swift action in response to these barbaric strikes. He noted that this situation is even an insult to former U.S. President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly tried to bring Putin to the negotiating table.

At the same time, the U.S. President’s special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, also commented on the strikes in Kyiv on social network X. Alongside a photo showing smoke and fire, he wrote: “Killing women and children in their homes is a direct violation of the 1977 Geneva Protocols. These attacks are shameful. The killings must stop and a ceasefire must be achieved.”

Meanwhile, economic development continues in Uzbekistan. New jewelry centers have opened in Tashkent, Andijan, and Khorezm. Soon, such centers are expected to open in Bukhara, Namangan, Samarkand, and Fergana, where gold reserves will be formed.

Against the backdrop of these events, the world once again continues the struggle for peace, humanity, and justice. Europe, the United States, and international organizations are now going through a significant historical moment, standing in defense of not only political, but also human values.
