Geopolitical tension in the Middle East has once again reached its peak — Iran has officially announced a ballistic missile strike against Israel. This was reported by the country's state news agency, IRNA.
The official statement emphasizes that the attack was carried out in response to the "cruel and threatening attacks" by Israel's Zionist regime against Iran.
"A few minutes ago, Iran launched a decisive operation against Israel. This was carried out by launching hundreds of various ballistic missiles toward the occupied territories," the IRNA official report says.
It is currently reported that military activity in the region has sharply increased, air defense systems have been brought to a high state of readiness, and the international community is monitoring the situation with concern.
