Iran's Operation True Promise 3 is not expected to end

Iran's Operation True Promise 3 is not expected to end
Tensions between Iran and Israel are escalating. Speaking live on Iranian state television on the evening of June 13, Brigadier General Ahmadi Vahidi, a military adviser to the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), said that the operation, dubbed "True Promise 3," against Israel is not yet aimed at stopping.

According to General Vahidi, this retaliatory operation is being carried out in stages, and important military and strategic facilities in Israeli territory are among the designated targets. He stressed that this was seen as a necessary and balanced measure, and Iran launched this operation in self-defense.

As part of the operation, precise strikes were carried out on the Nevatim and Ovda military air bases, command centers, and electronic intelligence and control infrastructure located in central Israel. The Tel Nof air base near Tel Aviv and industrial and military facilities belonging to the Israeli Ministry of Defense were also targeted.

As Vahidi noted, Iran is conducting the operation based on a clear strategic plan. According to him, more than 150 targets have been selected in total and ammunition has been sent to them in several stages. This is being done as a result of a high level of intelligence and military training by Iran.

The general said: “The Israeli side has made a grave mistake with its actions against Iran. They must now prepare for the consequences of their aggression. The Zionist regime will be held accountable for its actions.”

According to the Mehr news agency, this operation is being assessed as a major test that demonstrates not only Iran's military power, but also its information warfare, strategy and the firm position of the people. Such large-scale military operations can have a significant impact on regional peace and international relations.

At the same time, while the international community is calling on both sides to defuse the situation, Iran is stating that it will not retreat from the principle of “strike in defense.” Operation True Promise 3 is considered one of the largest counter-terrorism operations in history.
