Ukraine begins exporting modern weapons, entering the international military market

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the country is completing preparations to export its advanced military technologies starting this summer. This will enable not only the sale of weapons, but also the launch of joint production. During a conversation with journalists, the country's leader spoke about a new program called “Build with Ukraine.”

“We have launched a very important program. This summer, we will sign agreements to start major projects in cooperation with European countries, as well as other states that are helping us and investing in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles,” Zelensky said. According to him, these agreements will include not only drones, but also missile and artillery systems.

According to the agreement, Ukraine will offer its technologies tested on the front, and these projects will be implemented only with reliable partners. Zelensky said that countries closely connected to Russia will be excluded from this list. This guarantees the safety of Ukraine’s military secrets.

In recent years, Ukraine has seriously developed its local arms industry. In particular, significant successes have been achieved in the production of drones and artillery shells. Although Ukraine’s main military needs were not fully met by allies during the war, investments began according to the “Danish format.” Now the country is entering the external market, showcasing its potential on the international stage.

Such steps are important for Ukraine not only from an economic standpoint, but also strategically. Because this means new jobs, growth of innovations, and strengthening of defense potential.

By strengthening its position in arms exports, Ukraine may become a new competitor on the international military market. The world community continues to closely monitor Kyiv’s new initiatives.
