Anduril raises $5 billion, reaching a valuation of $61 billion

Leading defense technology company Anduril has completed its latest major funding round. The company raised $5 billion in a Series H round, bringing its market valuation to $61 billion. This funding round was led by investors Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz. This is reported by Techcrunch.com reports.
Anduril CEO Brian Schimpf announced on his blog that the company's revenue doubled in 2025 to reach $2.2 billion. This result allowed the company to double its valuation from $30.5 billion just a year ago.
The U.S. Department of Defense is striving to maintain competition in the defense technology market. For example, the U.S. Air Force decided to partner with Shield AI in selecting software for Anduril's "Fury" unmanned fighter jet. This signifies the government's strategy to avoid dependence on a single supplier.
Anduril is also expanding its operations internationally. The company signed a contract with the Dutch Ministry of Defense and is developing software for the U.S. Army that analyzes missile defense systems using the Lattice platform.
In recent years, the flow of venture capital into the defense technology sector has increased significantly. Alongside Anduril, companies like Shield AI, Hermeus, and Helsing have also achieved multi-billion dollar valuations, ushering in a new era in the industry.
