Following the airstrikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, Iranian officials have further hardened their stance on international political dialogue. Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi categorically rejected the possibility of holding any negotiations with the United States or Israel.
According to him, such talks will not lead to any logical outcome. In an interview with ARD television, Takht-Ravanchi said: “Continuing negotiations is absolutely useless.”
According to him, Iran will never engage in talks just to sit at the diplomatic table. Instead, the country is ready to defend its sovereignty and security. “We do not talk just for the sake of talking. If there is an attack — necessary measures will be taken,” the diplomat added.
