Stork with broken wing found in gas station, taken to zoo

An extraordinary situation was witnessed by citizens at one of the gas stations located in the Tashkent region. Amid daily activities, passersby noticed a stork lying on the ground with an injured wing and, without hesitation, promptly contacted the relevant authorities. This was officially reported by the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change.

According to reports, the incident occurred on the territory of a gas station located along a regional highway. Several concerned individuals, upon noticing the injured bird, acted quickly to protect and rescue it. They contacted the Department of Ecology and provided precise information about the bird’s condition and location.

Environmental control officers arrived at the scene without delay. Indeed, a stork with serious injuries was found on the ground. Experts carefully examined the bird and determined that its wing was broken. Therefore, veterinary services were immediately called, and the stork underwent a quick medical examination.

The bird was then placed in a special container and safely transported to the Tashkent Zoo. There, it will be cared for under the supervision of specialists. Nature conservation officers stated that the stork will be kept in a specialized veterinary facility and, after the treatment process, will be released back into the wild.

Representatives of the Ministry of Ecology expressed their gratitude to the local residents who did not remain indifferent and promptly reported the situation. They emphasized that such responsibility and civic engagement serve as an example to others.

It is noted that any unusual situation in the natural environment — whether it be an injured bird on the roadside or a suffering animal — must capture public attention. Quick response and conscious behavior are crucial in such cases.
