At the center of new political debates — Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, in an interview with Finland's "YLE" publication, noted that the main goal for the country is to completely end the war by the end of 2025. According to Sybiha, peace and stability are very important not only for Kyiv but also for the security of all Europe and other regions.
"Ukraine today is performing the function of a security guarantee for everyone. The way this war ends will seriously affect peace conditions in Europe and in the world. Therefore, we must act together with the international community to force Russia into peace negotiations," said Sybiha in his words.
The minister emphasized that Kyiv is asking the international community, in particular the US and President Donald Trump, to help impose even tougher, "disruptive" sanctions against Russia. Because only in this way can Russia's war economy be stopped and its trade relations with third countries restricted.
