Bus returning from mourning ceremony crashes in Kenya

A major road accident occurred in southwestern Kenya on Friday evening, Euronews reported. At least 21 people were killed in the incident. The bus was carrying passengers returning from a funeral when the tragedy struck.

As the vehicle approached a bend at high speed, the driver lost control. The bus veered into a ditch and overturned.

Road accidents are frequent in Kenya and across East Africa. Roads are often narrow and poorly maintained, with numerous potholes. Police blame drivers for excessive speeding.
