US President Donald Trump is once again in the spotlight over questions surrounding his health. According to The Daily Beast, a thick layer of foundation was spotted on his hand, reportedly used to cover bruises.
On August 22, the 79-year-old White House leader attended “The People’s House” event in Washington. Photos taken at the scene clearly show his right hand covered with makeup, with the cream standing out against his natural skin tone.
Observers noted that Trump tried to keep his hand hidden with his left hand during the event. However, during his public remarks, the makeup was still visible, prompting lively discussions among journalists.
This is not the first time attention has been drawn to the president’s hands. The White House previously explained the bruises as a result of frequent handshakes and the regular use of aspirin to prevent cardiovascular disease.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt stated: “President Trump meets thousands of Americans every day and shakes more hands than most leaders in history. His dedication to serving the people remains unchanged.”
In July, doctors announced that Trump had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency — a common condition among the elderly that can cause swelling and bruising.
Still, White House officials have recently avoided giving clear answers to journalists’ questions about treatment plans and the president’s overall health condition.
It is worth recalling that earlier this spring, Dr. Sean Barbabella released the results of Trump’s routine annual medical check-up, describing his condition as “excellent both physically and mentally.” Nevertheless, in recent months, photos and public appearances have once again raised ongoing questions about his health.
