India to create its own “Iron Dome” by 2030

India is making a strategic move in the field of defense. According to Bloomberg, the country has begun developing a national-scale air defense system. It will be known as “Sudarshan Chakra” and, according to experts, will be fully operational by 2030.

The first information about the project was given by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the country’s Independence Day. He emphasized that the new system will be recognized as the “Indian dome” and will have historic significance in ensuring the nation’s security.

Experts explain that the “Sudarshan Chakra” system will be based on four main pillars: surveillance, detection, tracking, and interception. With these functions, any aerial threat can be identified in time and effectively neutralized.

Furthermore, the system is planned to widely incorporate artificial intelligence technologies and algorithms with advanced cognitive capabilities. This will make the defense system not only fast, but also an innovative weapon capable of making intelligent decisions.
