In the city of Yangjiang, China, a man accused a pharmacy chain of being the reason for the collapse of his family and intends to file a lawsuit. This was reported by Pravilamag.
According to the man, he tried to buy birth control pills for his mistress, but the process was unexpectedly revealed, putting his marriage at risk.
The man made a payment through a mobile application, but due to a technical failure, the transaction did not go through. After that, the pharmacy staff tried to contact the number he provided, but his wife answered the call.
The woman, naturally suspicious, asked the employee for more details about the purchase, and once she received the answer, the infidelity was exposed.
The man posted a video message online, stating that now not only his, but also the “second family” could be destroyed. He said he would hold the pharmacy accountable and planned to present as evidence the correspondence between the employee and his wife, as well as screenshots.
According to Fu Jian, a representative of the Henan Zejin law firm, the man may try to demand financial compensation, but proving this will not be easy.
— In fact, the main reason for the family’s collapse is his own infidelity. Therefore, first of all, the man must take responsibility for his actions. However, if it is proven that the pharmacy staff really interfered in his private life, then they could also bear legal responsibility, — said the lawyer.
Fu Jian added:
— If he wants to file a lawsuit, he must present sufficient evidence of a causal link between the pharmacy’s phone call and the breakdown of the marriage. However, the phone call itself is legal and was not intended to disclose information, which makes it very difficult to prove that his rights were violated.
