Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klimenko and the head of the country's Security Service (SBU), Vasyl Malyuk, informed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that the suspect in the murder of former Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubi has been detained.

The Security Service of Ukraine, in its official statement, stated that the suspect was detained in the Khmelnytskyi region with the participation of SBU officers, the National Police, and the Prosecutor General's Office.
"The crime has been solved, the detention process has been fully completed, and it has been under the personal control of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy," the SBU statement said.
