The head of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, is highly likely to increase his financial potential to over $1 trillion - the company has offered him the most valuable and significant deal in history.
Currently, Musk's total wealth is estimated at $428 billion. Thanks to new shares and special bonuses, experts estimate that his financial assets could increase by approximately $900 billion more, which has the potential to make him the world's first trillionaire.
Tesla's board of directors plans to keep Musk as CEO until at least 2030. This opportunity is provided, for example, through the achievement of a number of major strategic goals for the company. Specifically, the company aims to increase its market capitalization from $1.1 trillion to $8.5 trillion within 10 years, bring 20 million electric vehicles to market by 2035, as well as produce more than one million robotaxis and Optimus robots.
"Retaining and incentivizing Elon Musk is strategically very important and necessary for Tesla," said board chair Robin Denholm.
In November, shareholders will vote on this agreement. Currently, some investors are debating the feasibility of this deal and its potential impact on the company's future.
