Netanyahu faced strong opposition and discontent at the UN

Today, September 26th, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the UN General Assembly in New York City. However, his speech was not as peaceful as expected, but rather provoked sharp reactions and open protests.

Many delegations in the assembly hall left their seats as soon as the speech began. At the same time, among the others, there were instances where his speech was interrupted by whistles and shouts. This became one of the most memorable and unusual scenes in the history of the conference.

Even in such a difficult situation, Benjamin Netanyahu did not stop speaking and continued to express his views. According to him, the Gaza Strip has become a completely enclosed area with loudspeakers to appeal to the international community. The Israeli Prime Minister called on Hamas militants to lay down their arms and release the hostages. Netanyahu emphasized that Israel is protecting not only itself today but also large regions like Europe and America from "barbarians at the gates."

He also accused countries that officially recognize Palestinian statehood of anti-Semitism. According to Netanyahu's criticism, within a week, the governments of Great Britain, France, Canada, and Australia decided to recognize Palestine as a state.
