India uses railway platform for rocket launch for the first time

Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh announced that the country has successfully launched its first medium-range Agni-Prime ballistic missile from a mobile railway device.

The minister noted that the missile test from the railway platform showed that India's strategic deterrence potential is constantly growing. At the same time, the country has joined the ranks of countries that can launch rockets from mobile railway devices.

The Agni-Prime ballistic missile was developed within the framework of India's new generation missile systems and is capable of accurately destroying targets up to 2000 kilometers away. According to analysts, this test is an important stage in India's defense strategy.
