Netanyahu: Israel will "end the matter on its own"

If Hamas rejects or fails to comply with the Gaza peace plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump, Israel will end the matter on its own. This was stated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at a joint press conference with Trump in Washington, Sky News reports.

"This can be done the easy or the hard way. We are giving all parties the opportunity to resolve it peacefully," Netanyahu said.

He warned that if Hamas rejects the plan or accepts it but later tries to oppose it, Israel will "end the matter on its own."

Netanyahu emphasized that Israel must achieve its military objectives, noting that the country has not conducted "this terrible fight, sacrificing our best young people for Hamas to remain in Gaza."
