In the southwestern province of Khuzestan, Iran, six people were executed, accused of terrorism, separatism, and connections with Israel. This was reported by the local Mehr agency. The sentence was issued based on allegations of their participation in various attacks organized by Israel.
According to media reports, the executed individuals also received assistance from foreign agents. Government officials assessed these events as a threat to local and international security.
International human rights organizations strongly condemned the event and expressed concern over the increasing number of executions in Iran. According to them, court proceedings are not transparent, and the accused are not guaranteed fair protection.
In recent years, Iran has been noted as one of the countries carrying out the highest number of executions in the world. Experts emphasize that such punishments may further exacerbate social and political problems in the country and increase fear and instability among the population.
This incident sparked wide discussions in the international community and among human rights organizations and drew additional attention to Iran’s judicial system and the issues of fair legal protection.
