A large part of Russia’s population trusts the country’s leader, Vladimir Putin. According to the latest survey results, eight out of ten Russians — that is, 79.1% — express confidence in the president.
Additionally, 75.4% of respondents approved of Putin’s policies and activities. Only 16% said they do not trust him, while 14.6% gave a negative assessment of his work.
The survey also revealed public opinion toward the Russian government — 47.9% of respondents approved of its activities, while 20% expressed a critical view.
Trust in Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin also remains high: 60.1% of citizens support him, while 19.7% hold the opposite opinion.
