In the capital of Kazakhstan, Almaty, a National Guard serviceman jumped from the third floor of building 5571 of the military unit where he served, resulting in severe injuries. This was reported by “Tengrinews.”
The incident occurred on October 4, and the soldier was hospitalized and is receiving the necessary medical care. Currently, his health and psychological condition are under constant supervision.
According to doctors’ analysis, the soldier was in a state of deep depression. This was related to the loss of a close relative before his military conscription. He was awaiting the decision of the military-medical commission regarding his future fitness for service. Surveillance footage did not indicate any external interference.
A service investigation is being conducted at the military unit, and all circumstances of the incident are being examined. According to the publication, last autumn, in the same unit, a conscript was also injured by gunfire.
This tragic event once again highlighted the importance of attention to the psychological health of military personnel, stress, and family circumstances.
