Rental prices on the world housing market are rising every year. In particular, in 2025, this growth was especially noticeable in large economic centers. According to analysts, London and Singapore were named the most expensive cities in the world for renting a one-room apartment this year.
As RIA Novosti wrote, in September of this year, the average cost of a one-room apartment in these two cities was $2,700 per month. In some central London districts, this price has reached up to $3,100.
Experts note that several factors contributed to the sharp increase in housing rental prices - population growth, migration processes, rising prices for construction materials, and increased activity in the investment market.

At the same time, competition in the rental market has intensified in many countries due to rising housing prices. Some countries have begun developing new laws to regulate rental prices or protect tenants.
