Fatal accident involving a 13-year-old driver in Almaty

A road traffic accident with the death of two people occurred in the Almaty region, Zakon.kz reports.

According to reports, the tragedy occurred in the village of Jalpaksoy. According to unconfirmed information, the 34-year-old VAZ driver did not give way to a Hyundai Grandeur moving on the main road. A 13-year-old boy was at the wheel of this car.

As a result of a strong impact, the Hyundai collided with a pole. As a result, the VAZ driver and passenger died at the scene, and the child was taken to the hospital.

According to the regional police, the incident occurred on the night of October 13 at 00:30. Investigators have initiated a criminal case, and an impartial investigation into the causes of the accident is currently underway.
