A horrific crime involving a young girl has shocked all of Kyrgyzstan. In the village of Barskoon, located in the Jeti-Oguz district of the Issyk-Kul region, a 17-year-old girl named Oysuluv was brutally raped and then killed. This was reported by Turmush news outlet.
According to reports, the tragedy occurred at the end of September. After noon, Oysuluv left her home to meet a friend and headed towards the city of Karakol. On the way, a car — a Honda Stream — stopped next to her. It was later revealed that the driver was a man born in 1984, who had previously been convicted several times.
The young girl never reached her friend. According to investigators, the man took her to an apple orchard, raped her, and then strangled her to death to conceal his crime. He later dumped her body in the Kemin district and fled to Bishkek, deliberately destroying her phone.
Her relatives began searching for her and contacted the police around 7:30 p.m. Unfortunately, by that time, the girl had already been killed. Law enforcement officers managed to apprehend the suspect shortly after.
Oysuluv was buried on September 30 in her native village, surrounded by her family and neighbors.
Police reports indicate that a 41-year-old man residing in Bishkek committed the crime. He not only raped the girl but also took her life. All necessary forensic examinations have been ordered.
According to the victim’s relatives, the police initially refused to accept their statement, saying that “a missing person cannot be searched for until three days have passed.” However, an internal investigation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs revealed that this information was false.
The investigation is ongoing. Local communities are demanding justice, and the young girl’s tragic death has once again highlighted the urgent need to combat violence in the country.
