
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at a solemn ceremony on the occasion of October 25 - Republic Day, called on the country's population to unite and show kindness. According to the head of state, mutual respect and friendly relations between citizens are the main guarantee of development, tengrinews.kz reports.
Tokayev emphasized that to maintain peace and stability in the country, every person should think not only about their own interests but also about the interests of society as a whole. "Disregarding the work of others, denying their opinions, or defaming someone is alien to a civilized society. There must be accountability for such vices," he said.
The President paid particular attention to the moral image in online discussions. He emphasized that discussions on social media often turn into insults and hostility. "This is one of the most dangerous diseases of society. We must rid ourselves of this vice," the head of state said with a firm statement.
The leader of Kazakhstan also recognized the date of independence as a sacred day for the people. He recalled that the Declaration of State Independence, adopted on October 25, 1990, laid the foundation for the new history of Kazakhstan.
Tokayev also touched upon the country's achievements in recent years. According to him, Kazakhstan has achieved significant results in economic growth, the social sphere, and the education system. At the same time, he emphasized the importance of not forgetting the lessons of the past.
Recalling the words of the great thinker Abish Kekilbayev, the President said that a nation can look to the future with confidence only if it can respect its history and heroes.
"At each stage, we express our gratitude to the history of our people and the people who created it. They will illuminate our path to the future," he said.
At the end of the ceremony, Tokayev called on all citizens to work for the prosperity and unity of the country. According to him, the prosperity of Kazakhstan is ensured only by the unity of society.
