Earlier, it was reported about the construction of an airport for New Tashkent. The airport is planned to be built in the area between Qiyichirchiq and O‘rtachirchiq districts.
According to reports, during the construction of the airport, some citizens' houses and buildings will be demolished. The areas of the "Xalqobod" and "Yangiyo‘l" neighborhoods in the O‘rtachirchiq district have been allocated for the project implementation.
The district governor held a meeting with residents. At the meeting, property owners were explained the procedures for compensation due to the demolition of their properties.
