
According to the "Khochu jit" project, 481 citizens of Uzbekistan who fought in the ranks of the Russian army in the ongoing war in Ukraine have died.
Project representatives emphasized that these figures are based solely on officially confirmed data. In reality, the number of Uzbeks who died or went missing at the front is likely to be several times higher.
According to reports, Uzbeks are currently being recruited into the Russian army and participating in battles in Ukraine. Also, among the captured foreign citizens, citizens of Uzbekistan occupy one of the leading places.
