In the Sverdlovsk region of Russia, a man transferred money to his ex-girlfriend for several years, who convinced him that he had a child in common. This was reported by the press service of the regional courts.
Anastasia and Andrey divorced in 2018. A few months later, Anastasia announced that she was pregnant by her ex-husband and began to talk about financial difficulties. He took advantage of his situation and asked him for money. Andrey transferred money to her several times, and then she disappeared.
In the summer of 2025, Anastasia appeared again and told Andrey about the condition of her school-age son. Since she couldn't afford to raise the child, she figured out she was in an orphanage and asked for more money. The man transferred 50,000 rubles to his ex-wife and came to see his son. Andrey learned from his acquaintances that Anastasia had no children.
The man filed a lawsuit, and Anastasia was found guilty of fraud. He was sentenced to one year of correctional labor with a 15% deduction from his salary. In addition, the girl will have to pay the victim 11 thousand rubles.
