Rubiales Attacked with an Egg by His Uncle

Former President of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales, has once again found himself in an uncomfortable situation. While hosting a book launch event, someone started throwing rotten eggs at him.

Reportedly, the perpetrator was his own uncle. Rubiales attempted to chase him, but others intervened and prevented the situation from escalating any further.

"Fortunately, I was stopped, otherwise it’s hard to predict how things would have ended, especially since there were other people present there," Rubiales told journalists.

Meanwhile, Spanish media have speculated that Rubiales himself might have orchestrated the incident. Supposedly, his uncle’s actions may have been a calculated move to boost attention to the event and elevate Rubiales' public profile.
