US President Donald Trump, in a conversation with journalists at the White House on December 3rd, expressed his views on the negotiations between the US and Russia. Trump also noted the effectiveness of the meetings in Moscow.
Trump said that he and his representatives, Stephen Whitkoff and Jared Kushner, achieved "very good" results in negotiations with Vladimir Putin and his aides. It was noted that these meetings are aimed at improving relations between the US and Russia and can mainly lead to peace and agreements.
"I think they had a very good meeting with Putin. I can't say what the result will be, but we worked well with them," Trump said.
The President reacted to the US peace plan related to Ukraine, emphasizing the need for Ukraine to support the US peace proposal. These dialogues will be important for the Ukrainian leadership to get used to the agreement.
According to Trump, negotiations between Ukraine and the US are proceeding actively and effectively. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also stated that new news is expected during the negotiations. In his opinion, the results of these negotiations are of great importance, as they are of strategic importance for both sides.
Trump also believes that future negotiations are expected to further strengthen relations between Ukraine and the US.
