Marco Rubio: The fallacy of the idea of a "world without borders" was stated in Munich

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, speaking at the Munich Security Conference, emphasized that prioritizing a global order and the idea of a "world without borders" has not justified itself in practice.
- According to him, the USA is interested in Europe being strong and independent.
- Rubio also noted that mass migration in Western countries has reached an unprecedented level, noting that this process poses a serious threat to the unity of society and the future of states.
- In his opinion, the defense potential has not been sufficiently developed due to the fact that the US and allied states have transferred a certain part of their sovereignty to international institutions and prioritized social spending.
- At the same time, the Secretary of State criticized the fact that, despite the enormous potential of the United Nations, it is unable to propose concrete and effective solutions to current pressing problems.
- It is said that the UN has not been able to stop the conflict in Ukraine, and the negotiations between the parties were carried out mainly with the mediation of the USA.
