Ali Fadawi, Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said that the US president has been trying to make peace with Iran since March 10.
Ali Fadawi stated that if the enemy had clearly won the war, they would not have sought mediators to establish peace throughout the world. Therefore, US peacekeeping efforts indicate Iran's strong position and conflicting political climate.
It was also reported that US Ambassador Steve Whitkoff sent peace proposals to Iran at least twice, but Tehran rejected these proposals. This was reported by the British publication The Guardian.
Analysts believe that while US diplomatic actions are aimed at easing relations with Iran, Tehran's refusal maintains political and military tensions in the region.
