Iran’s Leader Mojtaba Khamenei’s Health Update

Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is in “stable health” and “fully monitoring the situation,” said Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
Since his appointment on March 8, Mojtaba Khamenei has not appeared publicly. On March 12, the text of his first message to the people was read aloud by the Iranian state television announcer.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump expressed doubts that Iran’s new supreme leader was still alive. According to some reports, Khamenei may have been injured during the attack in which his father — Ayatollah Ali Khamenei — and family members were killed. However, these claims have not been confirmed.
On Friday, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegset said that Mojtaba Khamenei “may have been wounded and possibly sustained serious injuries.”
