Citizens of Uzbekistan were injured in Bangkok, one died

Several citizens of Uzbekistan were among those affected in a traffic accident involving a bus in Bangkok. According to reports, four Uzbek nationals suffered injuries of varying severity, and one of them died at the scene from severe trauma.

The remaining three injured citizens received urgent medical assistance. They were later discharged from hospital in stable condition, according to information cited by the Dunyo news agency.

Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry said its Consular and Legal Department has taken the situation under special supervision. Staff at Uzbekistan’s diplomatic mission in Thailand are providing the injured citizens with all necessary assistance.

Officials have also contacted the family of the deceased. Relevant measures are now being taken to arrange the return of the body to Uzbekistan. The authorities said the steps are aimed at protecting citizens abroad and offering needed support to their relatives during a difficult time.
