Strike at Natanz: Uranium complex attacked

According to the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, on the morning of March 21, the Shahid Ahmadian-Roshun uranium enrichment complex in Natanz was hit by the US and Israel.

According to the data, the facility's infrastructure may have been damaged to some extent during this attack. However, according to the results of the technical assessment, no radioactive substances have leaked into the environment.

The organization's official statement emphasized that there is currently no threat to the surrounding population, and the radiation situation in the area remains stable. At the same time, it was reported that constant monitoring of public safety is being carried out.

The Iranian Atomic Energy Organization strongly condemned this attack, considering it a violation of international legal norms and international obligations. In particular, it was indicated as an act contrary to the provisions of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
