USA removes enriched uranium from Venezuela

The USA has removed strategically important material stored in Venezuela from the country. This refers to enriched uranium located in an old research reactor.

According to a statement by the US Department of Energy, a total of 13.5 kilograms of enriched uranium was safely removed. The Guardian also reported on this.

It is reported that this operation was carried out in cooperation between the USA, Great Britain, and Venezuela. Officials assess this action as an important step for the security of not only the participating countries but the entire world.

According to the International Atomic Energy Agency, the process of moving the uranium was a "complex and highly protected operation." The material was transported from South America to North America in stages via land and sea, under strict security measures.

This material was removed from a facility located approximately 15 kilometers from the city of Caracas. It was subsequently placed in a special complex in the US state of South Carolina.

The official statement emphasized that Donald Trump's firm political will and leadership played an important role in the execution of the operation.
