More than twenty days have passed since the United States and Israel launched a large-scale military operation against Iran, and during this period, there has been an increase in anxiety, concern, and psychological discontent among US military personnel. HuffPost reports that the Washington and Tel Aviv administrations thought the war was a quick and decisive step, but the Iranian government is still maintaining stability, and it has been found that the Iranian people are united around the government.
According to military analysis and data, after the Strait of Hormuz was taken under strict control, the price of oil and gas on the world market rose sharply. US President Donald Trump is planning an armed invasion of Iran's strategically important island of Hork, which is increasing anxiety and stress among the military. As a result of these operations, US military facilities in the Middle East were hit by Iranian missiles and drones, during which 13 American soldiers were killed and more than 230 were injured.
Young soldiers are openly declaring, "We don't want to die for Israel," and are demanding a clear explanation from political leaders for the reasons behind the war. According to analysts, the US entry into this war was carried out under the pressure of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the influence of a strong American lobby.
The tragic strikes in Iran, including the bombing of the "Shajarayi Toyyiba" school in the Minob district, resulted in the deaths of at least 170 students and teachers, further fueling discontent among the US military. Amnesty International believes that the US bears responsibility for this practice.
The war also had significant economic consequences: within a month, US military operations exceeded $27 billion, and expenditures are growing day by day. Furthermore, the US's position on the international stage has weakened, and even a traditional ally, such as Switzerland, has restricted arms exports against Iran.
Thus, the military actions of the USA and Israel against Iran were not only unsuccessful in achieving the strategic goal, but also exacerbated moral discontent among the military, economic losses, and complicated relations with international partners.
