Iran has sent its response to Pakistan's peace proposal

Iran's response to the peace proposal sent by Pakistan, which mediated between Tehran and Washington, has become clear. As reported by the local IRNA agency, the submitted plan by Iran consists of ten points, in which Tehran rejected the proposal for a temporary truce and stated that instead it is necessary to achieve a complete cessation of the war.

Iran also demands the lifting of sanctions and the creation of a protocol to ensure security in the Strait of Hormuz. Pakistan, in turn, presented its peace plan to the US and Iran and proposed to start active discussions for negotiations.

In this process, peace talks between the US and Iran are expected to gain momentum. On April 6, Pakistan reportedly presented its peace plan to the US and Iran. Axios also reported that the US and Iran had discussed the terms of a 45-day ceasefire with regional mediators.

Tensions between the US and Iran have escalated, with Trump threatening to launch targeted strikes on Iran if it does not allow shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. The outcome of the situation will be clear by April 8.
