Spanish Prime Minister: “We Do Not Applaud Those Who Set the World on Fire and Then Come With a Bucket”

At the peak of the deepest phase of the global political arena, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez commented on the situation following the statement by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the ceasefire and analyzed the developments.
Sánchez sharply criticized Trump’s “excessively emotional and noisy outburst” on the issues of peace and ceasefire, noting that such actions “can provoke fear and chaos in front of the entire world.” According to him, such excessive and dramatic behavior does not receive approval from the international community and does not contribute to an easy resolution of problems.
At the same time, Sánchez regards the ceasefire as always a positive step, especially if it leads to a just and sustainable peace. He emphasized: “Temporary relief is welcome, but it should not make us forget the destruction, disorder, and lost human lives that have occurred.”
According to the Prime Minister, in the current global situation, the most effective and genuine path is diplomatic engagement, adherence to international law, and achieving peace through negotiation. Sánchez’s statement is regarded as an important step from the perspective of supporting peace and strengthening international cooperation within the European community.
This case demonstrates that in global politics, it is difficult to achieve results through emotional outbursts, but strategic diplomacy and adherence to law allow for true and sustainable peace.
