It was announced that Dubai's world-famous Burj Al Arab Hotel will be closed for 18 months, that is, for 1.5 years, due to large-scale reconstruction work. This was reported by the Reuters agency.
According to hotel representatives, the luxury establishment was commissioned in 1999 and is undergoing such a major renovation for the first time in its history.
It is noted that this decision was made against the backdrop of a difficult situation in the tourism sector in the region caused by tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran.
