On April 21 this year, a disturbing incident occurred at a school in the Agstafa district of Azerbaijan. According to reports, a disagreement between a 9th-grade student and an 8th-grade student escalated into a serious conflict. Oxu.az reported this.
During the fight, the 9th-grade student inflicted a bodily injury on their peer with a sharp object. As a result, the 14-year-old victim was taken to the district hospital by ambulance. Doctors noted that he sustained an injury to his left thigh.
According to the medical facility, the patient received first aid and his condition was assessed as stable. He was then discharged home.
An investigation has been launched by law enforcement agencies into the incident. Currently, appropriate measures are being taken to apprehend the suspect.
The school administration also issued an official statement regarding the incident, informing that the victim's health is under supervision. Furthermore, considering that the students are minors, the public was asked to approach the issue with caution and rely only on official sources.
