New accusations arise between Iran and the US

Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya military command has accused the United States of violating a ceasefire agreement. A statement released by Iran's state broadcaster claims that American military forces fired on an Iranian oil tanker heading toward the Strait of Hormuz. It was also noted that another Iranian vessel was attacked near the port of Fujairah.

The statement also alleges that the U.S., in cooperation with certain regional states, carried out airstrikes on civilian areas in Hemir, Sirik, and Qeshm Island. The Iranian side views these actions as a step that further escalates the situation.

Tehran announced that in response to these attacks, Iranian armed forces struck U.S. warships located in the eastern part of the Strait of Hormuz and south of the port of Chabahar. The statement noted that the American ships sustained serious damage.

Earlier, Fox News reported that the U.S. military had launched attacks on Iran's Qeshm port and the Bandar Abbas region in the south. So far, no official response from Washington regarding the situation has been released.
